Why Subsonic Is an Important Artist for MOSH

16.02.2026

On February 27, Subsonic arrives in Tallinn as part of his Frequencies Tour

This European run, followed by Australia and New Zealand, marks an important moment not only for the artist, but also for MOSH and the Estonian drum and bass scene. For us, this is not just another date on a tour schedule. It is a statement about where we are heading.

Biography

Subsonic, born Harry Joseph Peters on July 16, 1999, in the United Kingdom, represents the new generation of British dancefloor DnB producers. Growing up within the modern evolution of drum and bass, he developed a sound that combines strong melodic identity with powerful drops and precise production. His music reflects today’s global standard of the genre while maintaining its emotional core. Over the years, his tracks have gained international recognition, earning support from major names and finding their place in clubs and festivals worldwide.

Subsonic and Estonia

Estonia is not new ground for Subsonic. He has performed in different cities across the country and already stepped onto the MOSH stage in early 2025. That night left a strong impression. The energy was consistent, the connection with the crowd was real, and the dancefloor never slowed down. It confirmed that his sound fits naturally within our vision.

The New Set

This time he returns with an entirely new chapter. The Frequencies Tour set includes a significant amount of unreleased material. Among the most anticipated tracks is his collaboration with Dimension titled “Ghost Town”. A year ago he played an early version of this track at MOSH, but it has since evolved into something completely different. On February 27, Tallinn will hear the updated version.

The set can also feature unreleased music from close collaborators such as Sub Focus and Friction, alongside fresh remixes from Subsonic himself. Expect reinterpretations of classics and unexpected edits that push the boundaries of dancefloor energy. It is a rare opportunity to experience music before its official release and to feel it in its raw, live form.

A special highlight for us is “Roll Too Deep”, his collaboration with Sub Focus from the album Contact. The track perfectly captures the melodic power and intensity that define modern dancefloor drum and bass. It will be played in Estonia for the first time by Subsonic.

Why Subsonic

For MOSH, Subsonic is more than just a booking. He is someone we genuinely respect both professionally and personally. He is friendly, humble and easy to connect with. Over time, we have built a natural communication flow, exchanging ideas and music. It meant a lot to us that during the organization of this tour he reached out directly to work with MOSH. The entire process felt organic and built on trust.

Our concept has always centered around dancefloor drum and bass that delivers energy without unnecessary aggression. We believe in music that moves people emotionally while keeping the dancefloor alive. Subsonic embodies that balance. His previous set proved how strongly our audience connects with his sound, and this year he returns with even more depth and exclusivity.

What It Means for MOSH

MOSH is not just about events. We are building a community. Every show is another step in strengthening that connection between artists and audience. We aim to create a professional environment for international acts while maintaining accessible ticket prices and high production standards for our local crowd. It is inspiring to see more established artists reaching out to collaborate with us. That recognition confirms that MOSH has become a respected platform beyond Estonia.

What It Means for the Estonian Scene

Developing the Estonian drum and bass scene remains one of our core missions. We continuously look for promising local producers and offer them opportunities to perform alongside international artists. Even in financially challenging times, we push to bring quality lineups and strong production value while keeping ticket prices fair. We see this as a long-term investment in culture and in the growth of the scene.
